Regulators in every area view composting toilets differently. Oddly enough,
handling of greywater is often a bigger point of contention in areas which
permit composting toilets.
The site http://www.compostingtoilet.org has a wealth of information about your other
questions. When our book comes out it will probably have 20-30 different
designs, and the answers to your questions are a bit different for every one.
Best of luck with your project,
