Donot's For a Ecological Design

I have been growing through all the threads in the forum and has indeed gained lot of information on Ecological design for a home. All I see is various things we have to 'DO' for a ecological design. Have we everthought on what 'NOT TO DO' for a home? Things we need to keep away from Eco-homes? Put in your ideas on this.

Hmm...good idea...that would be a pretty long list, however.
