Laundry to Landscape Greywater Franchise

Postby Water Brother Lover » January 31 2010

I'm launching a franchise in Bernalillo County (Albuquerque, NM) during the 2010 XERISCAPE EXPO, which is February 27 - 28. http://www.xeriscapenm.com/

I have some concerns as to how the greywater laws are being interpreted these days... Since Albuquerque adopted UPC code doesn't that override what New Mexico State Law says about Greywater? There may be a big diference between GW inside and outside the city.

As a Greywater Guerilla activist I want to continue to consult on experimental greywater systems inside and outside of the City. Am I putting my boss's the Plumbing License at risk by continuing this activity?

Please give me some feedback about the startup and other issues to consider.

Best wishes on your L2L franchise.

I suggest you contact Val Little at 520 626-2678 for latest interpretation of AZ greywater rules (I am not 100% clear on how this jursidictional conflicts resolve), and please post back to the list!
