Dear Vice President Al Gore:
We are writing to express our support for gas-tax financed no-fault insurance.
With many Californians feeling both economically squeezed, and dismayed at deteriorating environmental quality, this proposal offers welcome relief.
Higher gas prices will lessen the slant of a playing field which favors excessive car use.
No-fault insurance will relieve the driving public of the burden of supporting an industry which has profited in appalling excess from provision of a service which mainly benefits themselves.
